The scale has a very large 3.7 inches x 1.9 inches blue backlighted accu-glo display. The capacity of the scale is 400 pounds. It also measures in kilos as well. The weight increments are .2 pounds or 1 gram. The 9075 scale by salter combines a sleek European design backed by 250 years of scale experience. This scale has a 10 year limited warranty and runs on 3 AAAbatteries (included).

When our old scale died, I carefully read reviews before settling on this one. I like the appearance - contemporary without being super trendy. The clear glass look would blend nicely with many color/decoration schemes. The numbers are easy to read, and once it finds your weight, it hold it several seconds so this near-sighted person can adjust position to see it better :) The glass surface is slightly textured, which is important in a positive way. I noted on the reviews of other scales that people had said the surface got slick and it was easy to fall. This is textured just enough to provide a safer surface, for which I'm grateful. I'm quite happy with the scale and value for price paid.

Simple, durable, light, nice looking, excellent display with super large numbers. There is no overkill with extra features. I Highly recommend this product.
