The NewlineNY Trendy Wave Mini Bathroom Scale is a new & moderen design featuring light weight & cool look. It is portable to monitor your scale when traveling or anywhere you go. The scale is small (12.2" long x 6.3" x 0.8" ), but would not reduce the weighting function and accuracy. It’s not only perfect for toddler, but excellent for teens or adults. This scale also comes with the latest "Auto-Step-On" technology. There is no need to tap, simply step on the scale to get a reading with 5 seconds automatic shut-off to preserve battery. We travel in our RV for most of the summer. My husband and I both watch what we eat and like to weigh ourselves regularly. It would not be practical to take our home scale with us, since everything is scaled down in the RV. Some friends told us about the NewlineNY Digital Mini Travel scale they purchased to take with them on a recent cruise. It is just perfect! We tested it at home before leaving, and it totally matched our home digital scale so it's quite accurate. The size makes it easy to tuck it away in a small space, and it's so easy to use. We love it and would recommend it for anyone traveling by any means of transportation. It's small and light, so it would be no problem to pack in a suitcase.

I needed a scale to take on vacation, as I have embarked on the HCG diet and will be in Phase 3 Maintenance while in Italy. Yep, perfect timing. I was a bit concerned when I saw the small size and thought that I would have to figure how "off" this scale was to my everyday one. To my surprise, it was spot-on to the 10th of a pound!The only negative, which perhaps I did not see in the description, is that it uses a "button" battery instead of normal AA or similar. Given that the batteries in scales do not require frequent replacing, this does not pose a problem but I felt is worth noting.I recommend keeping the box and using it to pack a suitcase. The scale does come packaged with two "bumpers" that can probably be kept and used to add a little more protection.All in all, highly recommended`

I bought this for my husband to use while traveling, and it packed easily in his carry on bag. It worked accurately and is very preciset. A great value, too!
