I have had these scales for approximately three years.They have the following attributes:1. Attractive and timeless appearance- the glass surface is embellished with silver-gray matte finish plastic trims on each side2. Accuracy- the scales are accurate, and measure quickly and consistently3. Large and easy to read figures4. Easy to adjust measurement between kg, lbs and st5. Long battery life- it uses 2x CR 2032 batteries, which I found to last about 3 years6. Enduring quality- the appearance is as good today as when I bought the scales. I suspect I will continue to receive many more years of faithful service7. Good value at the priceI have not found anything negative about these scales.Highly recommended!

Very good looking, very easy to stand on, easy to use (just step on it) and easy to read. Best scale in these departments. However, this one changes your weight anywhere from .5 to 1.5 pounds after getting on a second time right after going on the first time. So you never know where exactly your weight is if you are picky about every pound reading on a scale. I heard this is a problem on Soehnle scales.My Conair Thinner scales are rock solid and always read exactly the same. Sent this Pharo back to Amazon, instead of Egypt :)
