Attractive scale

Not a bad looking scale with the wood highlights and the glass platform. Will agree with the other reviewer...tapping the platform to turn it on rarely works. I found it easier to put a toe under the front edge, lift 1 - 1 1/2 inches off of the floor and drop!!! Fairly accurate (wish the numbers weren't so high!!!)

Nice scale but the kick start is bothersome

This is a very nice scale and it seems to be very accurate. The only complaint that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the fact the the "tap" to turn it on is more like a "kick start". You have to be pretty firm but other than that I like it.

won't turn on!

While this scale is accurate and consistent (ie, no more getting on the scale 3 times and taking the average of the 3 readings), I can only give this 2 stars since it's such a pain to turn on. I can tap, I can stomp, nothing! I literally have to lift the corner and let it drop to the floor before it will turn on. Also be aware that there's no light on the display, so it can be hard to read in a dark bathroom.
