If you, or a friend, have less than perfect eyesight, the XL-440 talking bathroom scale is for you. When you weigh with this scale, your weight readings will be said aloud in a pleasant, easy to hear female voice. If you're not in the mood to have your weights announced, just flip the switch on the bottom of the scale to make it hush up.
A lot of the bathroom scales ya see around have a teeny tiny weight display. Now, that's fine for most people, but not if ya have trouble seeing that tiny stuff. My Weigh designed this digital bathroom scale with a great big, LCD weight display with digits nearly one and a half inches tall. This feature is great for users with not-so-great vision.
Don't you worry about the XL440 scuffing up your pretty bathroom floor. The XL has scuff resistant foot pads to keep your floor safe, and to keep your scale from sliding around.
You won't have to bother bending down to switch this bathroom scale on...just give it a quick tap it with your foot. The scale will turn on and you can get to weighing. Pretty easy, huh?

I bought these scales for my father. He is 79 and has severe macular degeneration, so he cannot see much anymore. They work fine for him. The female voice is understandable and loud enough to hear. The speech is at a speed to understand fine. The response time from getting on the scales to when the weight is reported is slower than we expected but is acceptable.

I purchased this scale about a month ago and it meets all expectations. It is also VERY accurate (sadly as I need to lose weight!).I would give it a 5 star except that it's a little odd in its turning on. Other than that, and it's a nit, great product and worth the money.

I purchased this in order to keep track of my weight loss goals.I have 2 problems with the scale:1- The rubber feet fell off after about 3 days. Very poor design.2- The scale is very innaccurate. I am not talking a pound or two off. One day I would lose 10 lbs and the the next day I would gain 15.Very cheap design and very poor accuracy.This product is not worth the headache.
