This was a pretty good scale. I loved the trend tracking idea, but it wasn't very useful (you lose 2-4 pounds and it says that your weight is stable). I have only used it a handful of times in the past year, but recently I started weighing in more frequently--and it broke. I kept getting the E message (not "exceeds" like the other review, just E for Error). I contacted Healthometer.com and they were very prompt and helpful (willing to fix the scale if I send it in). I decided to cut my losses and get a new scale, but hopefully others will have better luck with it!

I purchased this scale because my older and bigger one had lost its accuracy by 15 pounds. By this, I mean you had to add 15 pounds to get in your weight range. Naturally, with this process one could "fudge" the numbers. The new scale, however, gives one's weight to .10lb and to help you further achieve your weight goal it tells you if you have lost or gained weight to the .10lb. Now isn't that nice! It helps keep you on track. Now when my doctor asks how much I weigh I can give the correct number. Yea! Today, thanks to this scale I am more cognizant of my dietary choices. This model is also lightweight and thin. So to answer the question, does this scale meet my expectations? Yes, it does and THE TRUTH HURTS!

I weighed myself at the doctors office and came home and weighed myself on this scale and it was accurate. I've also had other people compare it to their home scales and it was always accurate. I also recently went on a trip and in order not to exceed the 50LB bag limit per airline passenger. I weighed myself first and then with the suitcase and when i got to the airport....I was relieved to find out that my scale was indeed accurate. So I have no complaints and have been using this for over 2 years now without a problem.
