I picked this up at a local store. I am currently on a weight loss program & am searching for a scale that will be accurate from week to week. This is a basic scale with no extras like body fat or weight tracking.This scale was light, I liked the textured pads on the top. It comes with the nine volt battery & offers step on technology. No need to tape it first. The numbers light up in red & were easy to read.Unfortunately, it does not always give accurate readings. Stepping off & back on gave different readings & comparing it to another scale, it gave a higher reading & then sometimes the same reading. Very unreliable for someone who needs to check their weight each week.

I bought this scale at Wal Mart and returned it the next day. This scale does not give you an accurate reading. I stepped on it 3 times in a row and got different numbers every time, within a difference of 5 lbs. PIECE OF JUNK

As soon as I tried this scale I could not get the same reading. I found that each reading varied by as much as 6 pounds, despite the scale being on a flat surface and my weight being distributed evenly. I will be returning it.
