I need a scale not only accurate, but also sturdy. Initially I found Silver BalanceFrom High Accuracy Digital Bathroom Scale with 4.3" Extra Large Cool Blue Backlight Display and "Smart Step-On" Technology [NEWEST VERSION]. Then I found it's available in black color too and I like the black color one better. After researching some other scales on Amazon, I decided to give it a try.I'm so happy that I made this purchase. This scale is very accurate according to the comparison between this one and my doctor's old fashioned scale. The scale is sturdy and I feel perfectly safe when I step on it. You can see the thick and strong top of it in my video. I weighed myself several times (within a day), it keeps it's result ( 0.2 lb difference among those measurements). Great! It's consistent enough. I couldn't ask for anything more for $25 bucks.After being completely sick with the low-quality, and over-priced brand name scales in my local stores and online sites, I am impressed when I open the box of this scale. It's well made, affordable and accurate. The big screen and large numbers are another factor fits my check off list.I like the fact that you don't have to tap it to wake it up, just stand on it and it will show you how fat I am... The blue backlit is fabulous and I can see it clearly in any light conditions (dark and bright). It's another piece of art for my bathroom.Overall a great experience thus far.

Tested with 50 lb cast iron standards on level, flat surface. Temp. 72 deg. F, elevation 880 ft. Following values in lbs., 50.00 = 50.0, 99.99 = 99.8, 149.98 = 149.6, 199.97 = 199.8, 249.96 = 249.8, 299.94 = 299.6. Corner load error at 50 lb was less than +/- 0.1 lb. Repeatability at 150 lb was +/- 0.1 lb. Overall excellent results for a low cost, multiple load cell scale.

The wife and I had been having accuracy issues with our old digital bathroom scale. Some of the features we were looking for in a replacement were accuracy (obviously), stability, readability, and must look good. We spent some time researching on Amazon for a replacement (thanks all of you reviewers, keep up the good work) and settled on the BalanceFrom High Accuracy Digital Bathroom Scale. Wow! I double check this scale against the medical weight scale where I work, a couple of times a week. This thing is very accurate. Additionally, I am never uncertain about my footing when I step on the scale, and it is incredibly easy to read, even if my glasses are off. Oh yeah, my wife loves the way this scale looks in our bathroom.You WILL NOT find a better scale for equal or less money. My highest compliment is that I have recommended this scale to one of my best friends.
