Product Description
Eye-level digital scale features Electronic Medical Record (EMR) connectivity via USB to interface with a computer, monitor, printer or other electronic device for fast, easy and accurate data transfer. Capacity is 500 lb. with a 0.2 lb. resolution. 1" LCD is easy to read. Functions include LB/KG conversion, LB/KG lockout, automatic Body Mass Index (BMI) calculation, Zero Out/Tare, Hold/Release, Auto Zero and Auto Off. Platform size is 12-3/4" wide x 15-1/2" deep. Easy-to-use, built-in height rod measures 30" to 84-1/4" (76cm to 214cm). Digital scale features two wheels for easy relocation and includes six AA batteries.

The doctors in our office love this scale. It saves the nurses a lot of time. It works better than the Tanita version we bought last year.

The scale works well and I would recommend its purchase. Disadvantages: I encountered 3 difficulties: (1) the "manual" is printed so tiny that I had to go make an enlarged xerox copy in order to read it. (2) The scale comes with a "support" telephone number decal but no one responds to a call upon leaving a message. (3) I did not know about the AC Adapter until I bought the scale. I bought it, then discovered that I would have to take the scale apart to install it,--that is not an easy task, and it requires two people to do it.

The casing on the stand and measurement stick isn't as sturdy as I thought it would be, and the measurement stick does not slide very easily. It seems to work nicely otherwise.
