I have some very expensive bathroom scales that have many of the features of this one...for the value, this has the basics needed, a clean and modern look, and exact accuracy.One of my favorite features in newer scales is the fact that you don't have to tap the scale with your foot, wait, then get on to weigh yourself. This scale has that feature. You get on, you see your weight in digital numbers. Instant.Better yet, the numbers are very easy to read even if you typically have to wear contacts but prefer to weigh yourself prior to putting them on.The lighted display is a great bonus; reads more easily.The scale weighs in kilograms or pounds and runs of 4 AAA batteries.It's nice that when the scale becomes low in batteries, rather than simply reading incorrectly it will display "LO" on the screen.I especially like that it doesn't simply read from, say 115.5 one day to 120 the next if you gain a tiny bit. It will, instead, read "115.6". I find this tighter accuracy in not simply displaying half pound increments keeps me far further in check before any real weight damage is done.This weighs the same as my far more expensive scales in the house and also aligns with my doctor's scales. We do have a scale in the workout room and guest room so it's easy to see if one scale is off...works great. It was sent to me by Mira for honest feedback.

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2F7MMYUOVQS0E This is a very simple to use bathroom scale. Just pop in the batteries and works right away straight from the box. Batteries are included; there are four AAA batteries that you need to place in two separate battery compartments. The display panel is lit so you can even see at dark and you don't need to squint to see the numbers. If you want to switch from metric to English, and vice versa, the button is located at the bottom of the scale.Just a little tip, make sure to put it on a flat hard surface, don't put it on top of the carpet which may give you inaccurate readings.Sample item was provided by the distributor for an evaluation review.

It is as accurate as weighing machines can be. If I weigh myself in quick succession, the machine always says the same weight. It can even pick up on slight differences in the weight of clothes etc. Our weight fluctuates depending on the food and water intake each day, so take that into account as your weight does fluctuate a little during the course of the day.
MIRA Instant On Digital Bathroom Scale with lighted display This scale is ultra slim and precise. The display is large and also backlit with a blue light. You will never have trouble seeing the display even in darker rooms.
