Finally, a scale that is reliable. Forget the alternatives. I bought it for my home. I had tired of scales that would give different readings every time I stepped on them. Also, it's nice to find a well-made product from the U.S.A. at a reasonable price.

After years of trying many floor scales that broke, were always giving different weights each time I stepped on then got off and back on again, I finally decided to go for scales that work instead of designer color floor scales. This is a very solidly made product that should last a lifetime. Highly recommend.

This scale is easily offended if you touch it wrong. I have had to pick it up, turn it over and readjust it twice (quite a process as it's very heavy) in less than two months because my housekeeper bumped it somewhat when she was dusting near it. Not what I expected at this price point. I figured it would be as sturdy as the one in my doctor's office (which is a different brand but same design). I would not purchase this brand of scale again.
